Yes, Christmas is a comin’ – pandemic or not! And we all know it’s going to be very different this year.
Everything from the office party to family get-togethers and fun festivities will be affected.
The world has changed, that’s for sure, but what 2020 has highlighted is that we are a kind, caring, thoughtful, grateful and generous nation.
I thought it was quite apt that John Lewis chose to launch their Christmas advert on National Kindness Day and was blown away by the sentiment, ‘Give A Little Love’ (and yes, I did shed a tear!)
Adam and I have been so grateful to everyone who has supported Colleague Box since we started our venture earlier this year and are amazed by the unique ways in which you have all adapted our idea.
Colleague Box started as a way of thanking those who were working from home or furloughed during the first lockdown for their efforts; a way of employers staying in touch with their colleagues.
It was clear to us that people liked giving gifts as a token of their appreciation – and people liked receiving them, too. It’s good to show that, even though we may not be able to be together, they're still in our thoughts.
And so, as we approach gift-giving season, we thought it would be a perfect time to showcase our full range of Christmas boxes – with £1 from each one going to a Derby charity who do wonderful work in the city, Safe & Sound.
